In 2025, a well-known industrial equipment supplier from Europe approached BG Motor with a specific need: a compact, high-speed AC motor solution for use in a portable oil pump system. The system required fast startup, consistent pressure output, and stable long-term operation. Traditional AC motors on the market were either too bulky, too slow, or incapable of sustained high-speed performance.
To meet the client's performance goals and space constraints, BG Motor was tasked with developing a custom-built 220V single-phase AC motor delivering up to 15,000 rpm under a 750W power rating.
During the early phase of development, the client faced multiple technical obstacles:
1.High-speed limitations: Conventional motors typically max out at 6000rpm–9000rpm. The required 13000rpm–15000rpm demanded optimized rotor design, precise balancing, and reinforced insulation systems.
2.Temperature rise control: Continuous high-speed operation in a compact oil pump design would generate considerable heat, risking motor efficiency and component safety.
3.Dimensional constraints: The pump body had strict installation dimensions, making a compact but powerful solution essential.
4.AC power supply requirement: The customer preferred a 220VAC motor to match on-site utility access and reduce system complexity (no external driver or transformer).
To address the above challenges, BG Motor’s R&D team designed and delivered a customized single-phase AC universal motor with the following features:

This motor was directly integrated into the client’s oil pump system, enabling rapid oil extraction, fast startup time (<1s), and stable high-pressure output.

Testing support with pre-delivery full-speed performance test reports and vibration analysis
