As modern FPV aircraft and industrial drones continue moving toward longer endurance and higher payload capacities, propulsion systems require significantly higher torque and efficiency than traditional motors can provide.
The 4715 brushless outrunner motor was specifically designed for 13-inch to 15-inch UAV platforms, offering an excellent balance between power output, weight, and flight efficiency.
With its large stator volume and optimized electromagnetic structure, the 4715 has become an ideal propulsion solution for long-range FPV drones, industrial inspection UAVs, logistics platforms, and heavy cinematic aircraft.
High Torque Design for Larger Propellers
The motor features a 47 mm stator diameter and 15 mm stator height, providing substantially more torque than smaller 3115 or 4214 motors.
The increased magnetic volume allows the motor to drive larger propellers efficiently while maintaining lower operating temperatures and reduced current consumption.
Typical applications include:

13-inch long-range FPV drones;
14-inch cinematic UAVs;
15-inch industrial inspection drones;
emergency response UAVs;
mapping and surveying platforms;
medium logistics drones.
Excellent Power Density
Depending on KV configuration and operating voltage, the 4715 motor typically delivers peak power outputs between 2.5 kW and 4.0 kW.
Maximum thrust generally reaches:
5 kg to 7 kg under continuous operating conditions;
8 kg to 10 kg during peak thrust testing.
For an octocopter platform, total available thrust can exceed 60 kg, providing substantial payload reserves and improved operational safety margins
